COPYRIGHT & ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE USE NOTICE

All photographs, videos, images, graphics and other visual material published on this website are protected under the Swiss Federal Act on Copyright and Related Rights (Copyright Act, CopA/URG; SR 231.1) and, where applicable, other Swiss and international laws.

No content from this website may be copied, reproduced, downloaded, extracted, scraped, republished, distributed, altered, manipulated, adapted or used to create derivative material without our prior written authorization, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING

The use of any photograph, image, video or other visual material from this website for artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning or generative-AI purposes is expressly prohibited without our prior written authorization.

This prohibition includes, without limitation:

uploading our material to generative-AI systems or AI image-editing platforms;
using our material as prompts, image references, source images, or conditioning inputs;
AI image editing, alteration or transformation;
face swapping, face replacement or modification of the identity or appearance of persons depicted;
creation of deepfakes or other synthetic representations;
changing uniforms, insignia, equipment, vehicles, locations, clients, personnel or operational circumstances;
creating AI-generated or AI-assisted derivative images based upon our photographs;
using our material for training, fine-tuning, testing or developing AI or machine-learning systems;
incorporating our material into datasets, image libraries or other machine-learning resources;
automated scraping, extraction or collection for such purposes.

For the avoidance of doubt, modifying one of our photographs through artificial intelligence does not make the underlying use authorized merely because the resulting image differs from the original.

Where protected elements of our original material remain identifiable or our material has been used without authorization in the creation or exploitation of a derivative work, we reserve the right to enforce all available rights and remedies.

SECURITY PERSONNEL AND OPERATIONAL IMAGERY

Particular restrictions apply to photographs depicting our security personnel, contractors, clients, vehicles, uniforms, equipment and operations.

Our imagery must not be manipulated, including through AI, in a manner that creates a false or misleading representation of:

the identity of our personnel;
an individual’s employment or association with our company;
our clients;
our assignments or operations;
equipment or weapons carried or used;
locations at which our company has operated; or
any endorsement, relationship, authorization or activity involving our company.

Replacing or digitally altering the face of an operative does not constitute authorization to use the underlying photograph.

SWISS COPYRIGHT LAW

Without limitation, we expressly rely upon the rights provided under:

Art. 2 CopA — Protection of photographic and other works;

Art. 3 CopA — Protection concerning derivative works, without prejudice to the rights in the pre-existing work;

Art. 9 CopA — The author’s exclusive rights in the work and recognition of authorship;

Art. 10 CopA — The exclusive right to determine whether, when and how a protected work is used and reproduced;

Art. 11 CopA — The exclusive right to determine whether, when and how a work may be altered or used to create a derivative work;

Art. 39c CopA — Protection of electronic rights-management information.

Unauthorized modification of a copyrighted work or unauthorized use of a work to create a derivative work may also constitute a copyright infringement under Art. 67 CopA, subject to the requirements and exceptions established by Swiss law.

No licence, authorization or consent for AI use is granted merely because material is publicly accessible through this website.

All rights concerning reproduction, modification, adaptation, derivative works, AI-assisted transformation, commercial exploitation and other uses of our protected material are expressly reserved.
